Children's Ministry

Jesus Christ showed special compassion for children during His earthly ministry and we strive to follow His example.

The Bible says in Mark 10: 13-16, People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.”

With a generation growing up on PlayStaion3 it is easy to forget that children can have a good time with just simple games. Can you image what it would be like if a carnival was taken to a poor community where the children have to get their food from the city dump? It would be like taking Six-Flags to the most rural area in America.

It is easy to make a kid smile in the name of Jesus – they are desperately waiting for someone to demonstrate love to them. People just like you are running a soft-toss game, painting faces and painting finger nails, making balloons, and dancing to the sounds of the native country.
