Community Development
FCM’s community development program is involved in partnering with churches that want FCM to assist them in completing an infrastructure project that will help transform a village or a community. FCM wants to be involved in projects that are sustainable and reproduceable. Livestock and farm projects supply nutritious food and a means of income. Vocational training provides desperately needed job skills. School construction and education projects give children in remote areas an opportunity to break the cycle of ignorance and poverty.
Las Nubes Bakery Construction
Creating a micro-business in Guatemala
FCM tries to balance every trip between emergency relief and long term development. Here, a bakery is constructed that will provide bread to a remote village in Guatemala, as well as the creation of a job for someone in need.
Library and School Construction in Venezuela
FCM Constructs church in "New Jerusalem Community" of Venezuela
FCM sent a small team of missionaries from Community Life Church to deliver $15,000 for the construction of a church in the New Jerusalem Community of Venezuela. New Jerusalem sits in the shadows of the notorious city dump just outside of Maraciabo, Venezuela. The church was founded by Pastor Jose Gregory, a disciple of Antono Martines, Pastor of Fuente de Amor. Pray for Jose and his family as he oversees construction of the building and leads his flock in the task of making disciples.
