Tripp Skipper was named President of FCM in 2006. Tripp holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mobile. His professional career began in public service where he has held various roles with Senator Jeff Sessions, Congressman Robert Aderholt and more recently Congressman Mike Rogers. As president of FCM, Tripp is responsible for U.S. operations, which include fund raising, advocacy, and program development. FCM is a non-profit ministry that exists to serve orphans and families in Africa. Tripp is passionate about helping the continent’s 60 million orphans and with the launch of a project called Abaana’s Hope, he has made orphan care a priority for the organization.
Yancy Carpenter was named Vice-President of FCM in 2011. Before joining FCM’s leadership team, Yancy has traveled to several countries in Central America, in addition to spending time in Africa. Yancy began his professional career with Sysco Food Services in 1998 before being promoted as District Sales Manager for Auburn, Alabama in 2004. Currently, Yancy serves as Customer Relations Manager for Sysco, overseeing three major districts in Alabama. As vice-president of FCM, Yancy is responsible for communicating FCM’s vision and strategy to donors, church leaders, and potential supporters. Yancy also serves as a crucial link between FCM and team members prior to going on a mission trip. Yancy has a burden for the people of Sudan and Uganda. His desire to share the story of the persecuted church encourages and challenges many.
Jeannene Keet brought over 20 years of corporate experience to FCM when she became the Director of Communication in January of 2010. Jeannene graduated from Auburn University in 1982 with a Bachelor’s of Aviation Management degree. Before moving to Wedowee, Alabama in 2009, Jeannene worked for both American Airlines and British Airways. As Director of Communication, Jeannene is responsible for maintaining and serving more than a 1,000 supporter relationships. Jeannene is also directly responsible for coordinating all travel plans for FCM’s team members. In addition to ministry, Jeannene is a multi-engine instrument rated pilot. She is married to Jim Keet and they live in Wedowee, Alabama. They have a daughter, Kyla Keet, who is attending Auburn University and a son, Jamie Keet, who eagerly awaits for his parents’ arrival in heaven.
Joy Carpenter has been supporting FCM since 2006 when she went on her first mission trip to Guatemala. She was named Director of Child Sponsorship in 2010. Joy graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In addition to working for FCM, Joy serves as a Pre-school teacher for “Bright Beginnings” at First Baptist Opelika. As Director of Child Sponsorship, Joy is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the special one-to-one relationship between a sponsor and a needy child living in Sudan or Uganda. Joy helps to ensure that sponsors and sponsored children have input into each other’s lives by writing letters and through prayer. Joy also helps FCM sponsors take advantage of the opportunity to visit their sponsored child on an FCM trip to Africa. Joy and her husband Yancy live in Auburn, Alabama with their two dogs, Charlie and Duke.
Kimberly Burk is employed with the accounting firm of Lovoy, Summerville & Shelton, LLC. In her role as Senior Accountant, Kimberly prepares the annual compilation and 990 for FCM. Kimberly graduated from Auburn University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accountancy) and since then has performed various services for not-for-profits including bookkeeping, 990 tax returns, audits and compilations. Kim and her husband, Thor, live in Opelika, Alabama with their dog, Duke.
Leigh Allen has been serving as FCM’s Financial Manager since November of 2010. Leigh graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Civil Engineering.
As financial manager, Leigh is responsible for maintaining FCM’s financial books and helping to ensure that the ministry is compliant with generally accepted guidelines and practices.
Leigh and her husband Matthew live in Wadley, Alabama with their daughter, Blakely.
Amy Jacobs attended a Four Corners Ministries “Sip-N- Swap” in the fall of 2010 and learned about the vision of Abaana’s Hope. After attending the event, she and her husband, Jeff, spoke with Tripp about the possibility of going with FCM to Uganda. God led Amy and Jeff to go on a mission to Kampala, Uganda in April of 2011. While in Uganda, Amy experienced first hand the wide variety of opportunities FCM has available to serve the people of Uganda. Upon returning from the mission, Tripp and Amy discussed an outlet for Amy to serve with FCM.
Amy graduated from the University of Mobile in 2007 with degrees in Biology and Math. She then graduated from University of South Alabama with her master’s degree as a Physician’s Assistant in 2009.
As Projects Manager, Amy will be helping to plan and coordinate various events for FCM, as well as assisting in mobilizing teams for short-term mission trips and providing them with effective training for their trip. Other areas of responsibility include: website maintenance, assisting in the development of the quarterly newsletter, and establishing other forms of income through micro business initiatives.

Darrell Hobbs lives in Uganda with his wife of 29 years, Pam. Three children (and one son-in-law) are spread out between the USA and Kenya. After receiving his education at Lamar University and Louisiana State University, Darrell spent many years in heavy construction and construction management throughout the USA. Having participated in Christ centered building projects in Eastern Europe, Mexico, South and Central America, he has now spent several years helping to alleviate Uganda’s child care crisis by supervising the building of dozens of children’s homes, classrooms and infrastructure projects for numerous children’s villages. Darrell also graduated from Southwest Baptist University and is an ordained minister. He said, “It’s an honor to assist in the Abaana’s Hope project. Obviously God is at work in it, therefore, its right where I want to be.”
